Estimated Stipend

Approximately $47,500, paid biweekly. The residents have the opportunity to work additional internal shifts at pharmacist pay-rate outside of their residency requirements.

Paid Leave

17 working days per year. Paid leave time will be used toward attending educational leave (excluding the SIUE resident Boot Camp) and may be used for vacation, personal illness, funeral attendance, illness of a family member, or other personal business. Earned but unused vacation upon completion of residency training will be paid out.


Health, Dental, Vision Insurance benefits as regular Carle employees.


Cost covered for BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Professional travel reimbursement

Registration and travel expenses for required meetings Memberships: ASHP Membership dues will be covered by the program for the residency year.
