Regional Seminar on Diabetes
Carle Foundation Hospital is pleased to announce the Regional Seminar on Diabetes which is scheduled for Monday, September 17, 2018. This year's symposium will feature two guest speakers. William Polonsky, PhD, CDE, President and Founder of the Behavioral Diabetes Institute, will discuss promoting behavior change in diabetes. Susan Cornell, PharmD, CDE, the associate director of experiential education in the department of pharmacy at Midwestern University Chicago, will discuss diabetes medication make-over. Other topics include diabetic foot exam and wound prevention, and wound healing.
The target audience is physicians, psychologists, advanced practice providers, residents, registered nurses, dietitians, social workers, and health professional students.
Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Fee: $50 (MD, DO, DC); $15 (residents and students); $25 (others)
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing no later than seven (7) days prior to the conference. Refunds for cancellations will only be refunded via the method in which they were paid. After the seven (7) days prior to the conference, refunds are not available. Registrations may, however, be transferred to another person to attend this event. Notice of cancellations and/or transfer requests must be made in writing to email@example.com.
